EXPERIENCE:

Previously to establishing Invicta Legal as one of the founding partners, Carlos Hernández-Aguiar was founding partner of Pragma Legal (2016), FH Legal (2012). He was a Partner at Guardia, Cubero & Facio (1998-2001) and a Founding Partner of Facio Abogados (2001).

His practice focuses on foreign investment advisory, counseling transnational companies in their establishment and operation in Costa Rica. He advises developers, promoters and purchasers on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, including planning, development, financing and transaction structuring. His practice focuses on shoreline zone development, condominiums and hospitality and leisure schemes. Moreover, he counsels leading companies in the hospitality industry on corporate and labor matters.

He is not only a prominent attorney in Costa Rica, he is also a visionary entrepreneur. He is Co-Founder, Partner and Vice President of two companies from the financial sector. He is also Partner and Board Member in several real estate development projects in San José, Alajuela, Central and North Pacific.
