EXPERIENCE:

Jorge González has more than 16 years of legal practice and is a founding partner of the firm Invicta Legal. Prior to serving in that position, he served as Co-founder and Partner of Regional Offices and Junior Partner in the law firm LLMR & T (2005), as a co-founding partner of the firm Integra Legal (2012), and later a partner of Ernst & Young (2014).

His professional practice has focused on corporate, banking and trust fund matters. He was in charge of the area of ​​trusts and loan structuring of the external legal department of the Financial Group Cuscatlán of Costa Rica (later acquired by Citigroup), and managed to develop his experience especially in matters of structuring of loans, corporate re-structuring, trusts, among others.

Over the years, Jorge González has managed to develop and position a solid legal practice to support clients, standing out as a legal advisor for several banking and fiduciary entities, and having relevant experience in the structuring of loan operations, guarantee trust funds, securitization and estate planning for national and foreign funds and family offices.

As a result of his finance practice, real estate has become his other main practice area. He has worked with foreign investors and local developers for more in the last 10 years, in structuring property closings, due diligence, mixed used developments, condominium regime, project finance, debt structure, among real estate related matters.
